We live in the neighborhood and have been here many times over the years for dinner, lunch and most recently brunch with family visiting from out of town. We went with a large group and were given a table in a more secluded area for our 10-person party. The food was delicious, the service great and I'm sure many of the other reviews have already mentioned what the most tasty dishes are, from their pizza to their desserts and more. What I hadn't realized and learned just this most recent visit is that they are also really accommodating with kids, they brought crayons and coloring sheets for them to play with and were kind and patient with their orders. Whatever you would want to go for whether a double date, a family outing, a business lunch or something else, Milo & Olive is definitely a win!

Went for first time Arugula salad , pepperoni and mushroom pizza, clam pasta all excellent. Servers all personable and very helpful. Ambiance a little austere but overall excellent experience and will be coming back.

Stumbled across while exploring the area, thought I'd come back for breakfast the next day and glad I did! Egg white scramble was superb, with the spinach & feta cheese. Arugula salad complemented the scramble well. I ordered an extra side of chimichurri potatoes; loved that they didn't skimp on the serving size and loved how flavourful the chimichurri sauce was. There was an impressive selection of baked goods and bagels in the cabinet too, would love to come back and try... also the interior feel of the space was nice. All in all a great find, service was on point too. Reasonably priced. Highly recommended!

Milo and Olive is a great place to go on date night. It has a cozy and relaxing atmosphere with both bar seating along the kitchen as well as normal tables throughout the rest of the space. The food is fresh and I personally like their pizzas the most. Because of the portions, I would recommend sharing a salad or side like the garlic knot, and then a pizza. The pizzas are slightly bigger than personal pizzas but with another item or two, you should be decently full. They also have great cocktail selections to pair with your meal. I believe they are known for their pizzas and I would say out of all their items, it's what they are strongest at making on their menu.

Delicious and satisfying experience at Milo and Olive. Trendy, clean, and intimate setup. Perfect for a date night with your partner or a catch up with a friend (if you're ok with splurging a little). The food? Everything was fantastic. The pizzas are obviously the stars of the show. That crust... so flakey and delicious. The toppings and spread are flavorful, fresh, and melt in your mouth. Our sausage, kale, and mushroom pizza was one of the best that I've had. Don't sleep on those chicken meatballs too! So juicy and scrumptious. Pricey, but worth it. Our service was also top notch. Marne was so friendly and warm, and also courteous of dietary restrictions and preferences. She is a gem. Extra points for her getting our food to us at lightning speed. Highly recommend Milo and Olive!

Italian-Americans managed to bring their secrets of delicious pizza and adapt them to the States seamlessly...in New York But oh, why haven't they made it to LA? Delicious pizza in LA seems to be a rarity at the moment. While I continue my quest, the current offerings from restaurants often feel like mere replicas from grocery store shelves. However, Milo and Olive is the exception. Their pizza hits the mark perfectly, both in taste and presentation. It's a delightful symphony of flavors, served with finesse and boasting an appealing aesthetic. Coupled with outstanding service and a prime location, it's a winning combination. The only downside is that, I always found myself dining solo and invariably ended up seated at the bar.

Incredible pizza flavors at Milo and Olive. A friend and I were searching desperately for a good place to chow down Friday night when he suggested Milo and Olive. I wasn't convinced fully, just from the menu alone because of the lack of a gluten free crust option, but I then I realized it was also a Bib Gourmand and decided to take the plunge anyhow. It was incredible - we ordered pear and prosciutto pizza and sausage made of pork belly and kale pizza. Also ordered the prosciutto burratta toast and that tasted amazing drizzled with honey on hearty, toasted wheat bread. I could eat Milo + Olive for days. Ambiance is darker, cute for date nights and more.

Spectacular spot for Italian food in Santa Monica. We went for weekend brunch although they have a bomb dinner menu. The garlic knots are literally filled with warm, savory gloves of garlic. There's a bunch of natural lighting inside, and you can sit at a table or at the counter and watch the chefs whip up some tasty pizzas and flavorful bites. We chose to sit at the counter, inside, even though there is also a back patio to choose from. There's a baked goods section at the front of the restaurant, which you don't want to miss. The service was also fast. A few favorite bites: - Breakfast Pizza (sausage, farm egg, roasted potato, fontina cream, pickled fresno chili, mozzarella) - brioche Breakfast Sandwich (white cheddar, scrambled eggs, aioli with choice of house sausage OR Niman Ranch bacon) with crispy potatoes and chimichurri sauce - chocolate chip cookie (sooooo good)

First time here and it didn't disappoint. My friend reservations for me here for my birthday and it was good. We got the Margherita Pizza and the pasta with short rib and WOW was that one amazing! The pizza was good too but nothing too special. I felt the sauce was lacking something. But I definitely recommend the pasta dish with the short rib! Service was good but slow. Parking is hard to find. Metered street parking. Had to circle around for awhile until I found a spot.
